Winner of America's Best Business Awards. Number one Nanny Service in the 1999 Consumer's choice competition. The American Nanny Company (ANC) is a private child-care placement
agency, founded in 1984 by Marsha Epstein in response to the pressing
need for quality in-home child-care and general family assistance for
the contemporary American family.
Ms. Epstein served as a tenured professor of Sociology for thirteen
years prior to the founding of ANC. She also served as Vice-President and Board Member of the International Nanny Association and is a founding member of the Network of American Nanny Agencies. In 1990, she was a member of Representative Gardner's legislative subcommittee on the regulation of nanny agencies.
The media frequently seeks the expert opinion of Ms. Epstein,
the President of ANC. The agency twice hosted Dan Rather's Eye
on America, and reporter Jacqueline Adams. She also appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show as an expert on the topic of nannies as well as
an industry expert on the Susan Wornick Consumer Show. Finally, the agency has appeared in numerous articles over the
years in publications such as the NY Times, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Boston Globe, Twins, Child Magazine and the Ladies Home Journal.
ANC brings a wealth of experience and a strong personal commitment
to facilitate a mutually satisfying experience for both the nanny
and the family. Every possible effort is made to match nannies
and families in terms of their respective, unique requirements,
and interpersonal needs and styles. In more than 15 years of operation,
the American Nanny Company has been at the forefront of the in-home,
child-care movement, and has prided itself on the care, professionalism,
and support brought to each and every placement. |
